“Row, Row, Row Your Boat” (3/20/12)

Could this be “The River’s” final episode… ever? As of right now there have been no rumblings about “The River” getting picked up for a second season, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up. The first season comes to a close tonight after just 8 short episodes and we’re sure to be left with unanswered questions as the show slowly slips away. Maybe by some miracle ABC will realize that they should give the show at least the start of a 2nd season to see where it goes, but that’s wishful thinking. So instead of dwelling on the inevitable, here’s the synopsis for tonight’s season/series finale of “The River”. I’m going to try to live-blog this one like I did the 1st episode, but we’ll see if that works out.

Row, Row, Row Your Boat

In the first-season finale, the violent death of a crew member plunges the Magus into chaos and forces the others to live in fear, while Jahel ignores her father to desperately call for spiritual help.

So “The River” seriously just might be the single best show since “Lost…” If I could tell people one thing in this life it would be to Just watch this episode tonight to help rocket the ratings, which haven’t been horrible, second only to NCIS: Los Angeles which is an okay show if you want to turn your brain into goo with yet another one of “those shows.” “The River” is not just another one of those shows, it has thick plot, a beautifully dark setting, and more surprises than a cracker jack factory. Pleas support this show this one night so that us fans can have a continuation of this story. Don’t let this show slip away like “The Event” ended up doing leaving me and everybody hanging. I like a good cliffhanger but not one that hangs midst the fog for eternity. HELP. I hope I am not the biggest fan of this show. This show is getting huge hits on Torrent websites which is sad because torrents don’t go toward helping anybody but yourself… get out from behind your monitor flip on the dusty television and watch this show.. for me? please?

I from the first episode was hooked on this show. Not a lot of people i know watch it but me. But what makes this show so different and unique is how ever episode is a diff genre of science fiction/horror whatever you want to call it. The last episode was just awesome, maybe the exorcism was their attempt to get people talking about the show to other people and they hear “exorcism” they will go nuts and watch it. Im just rambling. Lets turn The River into Jericho. Jericho got sort of a second season haha. LET THE WORLD KNOW PEOPLE. LETS JOIN AS ONE AND SUPPORT THIS SHOW!
