Live Blogging “The River” Season Finale
I figured since we did it for the season premiere we might as well do it for the season finale as well. Join us here as we live blog the finale of “The River” tonight on ABC. This could possibly be the series finale as well, as of yet there is no word on if the show is getting renewed, but things aren’t looking good. So join us for one last party as we find out what happens to Emmet and the crew of the Magus.

I think The River is a huge success as a tv series on ABC. Although I believe there could be more effort to market the show to others to see how great of a show it really is, not to mention this would boost the ratings. As far as I’m concerned, there better be another season (multiple seasons, ideally!) of The River! It is mysterious, intriguing, shocking, scary, dramatic, and so much more. There is a lot of depth to each character in the show, I really believe the show, and network, would benefit from more seasons so they can not only divulge into the depths and past of the characters, but to depict more of the “wait a second, what just happened” action and storyline of the show and where it’s heading. There is so much more potential to this series, I’d hate to see it end like this – so soon! Unlike LOST, the storyline is so strong that it constantly keeps up your interest and you don’t get “lost” in all the different twists and turns the show makes, because they are all intertwined and connected. If you ever miss an episode, it is the FIRST thing on your list to do, due to the fact that each show in itself keeps you on the edge of your seat, yearning for more! It would be sad to see such a great show come to an end like this!!!!
ABC please DO NOT let The River end!!!
This show is awesome, I really hope they renew it for Season 2, and I agree with the above it needs to be promotoed a bit more so people will give it a chance.
The River was such a Great TV show, we are all looking forward to see The River Season 2, and please Support The River For Season 2 by signing the Petition.

It would be terrible if they didn’t continue with an ending like the rivers changing around..that gives them the opportunity for so many more episode..it..just..can’t..end!
I waited all those episodes to find out what “the source” was and never got my answer. I do agree that this show was edge-ier than many ever are on tv. The show seemed to loose touch with the answer to the source.
It sucks that they ened just on 7 shows it was awesome and 200 times better than lost atleast each espiode ened with a understanding but a mystery of what’s to come I reallllly hope they cont.. but as all good shows they seem to not go on as I can go on n on while lame shows goes for ten season I reallly hope they cont… it was really great and hilarous to see my kids jump when they did as did I
